Deacon St.
John is the protagonist of the video game Days Gone. He is a former member of a
motorcycle club called the "Reapers," and is now a bounty hunter in
the post-apocalyptic world of Days Gone.
Deacon's story
begins two years after a global pandemic has devastated the world, turning most
of the population into mindless, zombie-like creatures called
"Freakers." Deacon, along with his wife Sarah and his best friend
Boozer, were part of a group of survivors who were able to make it to a
military checkpoint. However, Sarah was killed in the chaos and Deacon was
forced to leave Boozer behind as the checkpoint was overrun.
Since then,
Deacon has been living a nomadic life, traveling the countryside on his
motorcycle and taking on bounty hunting jobs to make a living. He is a skilled
fighter and survivor, and has learned to adapt to the harsh realities of the
new world.
Throughout
the game, players follow Deacon as he navigates the dangers of the
post-apocalyptic world, encountering other survivors, hostile factions, and
hordes of Freakers. Deacon is a complex character, haunted by the loss of his
wife and struggling with his own personal demons. Players must help him make
difficult decisions and choose his own path as he tries to find a way to
survive in this new, unforgiving world.
